This is a very rare, genuine vintage 1960s mid century dining table & chair set that is in excellent 9.5/10 condition!
4 Chairs: The chairs are branded “D-Scan” & are made with solid teak wood. The sculptural ladder-back design features openwork details and tapered legs. Really awesome Scandinavian / Danish designed chairs! Newly added crushed velvet white seats. Original fabric is underneath and is white, but very stained. I could custom upholster the chairs for you, for an additional cost!
1 Table: This table i believe is solid walnut, but the finish matches the teak wood chairs perfectly. It’s circular and slightly oval-shaped. The top has just been newly refinished! Underneath, it is stamped "Walter of Wabash" which was a popular hardware line produced by the B. Walter & Co in Wabash, Indiana. That’s not the brand of the table, only the leaf hardware. I wasn’t able to find the brand of this table, or any others similar to it online. Seems to be a very rare piece! Very cool design on the base that ties in with the design of the chairs. It does pull apart to add a leaf, but it does not come with one.
Flaws: all 5 of these pieces are in excellent condition for their age! No structural flaws. No wobbles. No cracks. No water damage. The only flaws are very minor light scratches and very light sign of discoloration here and there, from general use over the years. Nothing significant whatsoever!
The chairs alone are with $500+ a piece! This entire set is valued well over $3500
