This is a very rare, genuine vintage mid century solid wood surfboard dining table & chair set - made by Broyhill! They even have the original finish, which is in 9.5/10 condition.
Broyhill made these tables and chairs for all of their lines - Sculptra, Brasilia, Saga, and Emphasis. So it can easily tie in with any of those pieces and many other 1960s pieces. Such a high quality mcm set that was very well taken care of!
Chairs: the 6 chairs are all super sturdy with very minimal flaws. There are only some very minor scratches and signs of wear. Hardly noticeable. The seats are very clean, with a floral design. No rips or tears. At no cost, we could install a velvet slipcover on the seats for you! 15 different colors to choose from. -OR- I could reupholster the seats with a fabric of your choice - for an additional cost!
Table: the table is very sturdy, no major flaws. Only very minor signs of wear, small scratches, here and there. Nothing too noticeable at all! It was a little hard to capture a good photo of the top - if you see any areas of “discoloration” in the pictures, it’s just light reflecting. Overall it’s very even in color on top. No water damage or major discoloration!
This dining set is truly a gem! Hard to find. Easily worth $5000+. Asking $3500 or best offer.
