This is a genuine vintage mid century solid cedar wood storage bench by Lane Furniture! Made in the 1960s. In excellent 9/10 condition.
It has just been fully refinished! Old paint stripped, sanded, and stained. There are some minor remnants of white paint that you can see in the wood grain if you look close. Original hardware on the front has been painted brass gold!
inner front grooves have been accent painted brown as well as the base + legs.
The inside is nearly pristine. Extremely clean with no noticeable damage. Perfect as an entry bench, end of bed, for storing linens, blankets, to use to store heirlooms, etc. It doesn’t come with the original key but I’m sure you could have one made!
There are various minor flaws on the exteorior of this piece. A couple of areas where veneer was cracked but glued back on, a couple of chips on edges, and a couple of remnants of deeper scratches. All give it well-loved vintage character :)
