This genuine vintage lowboy dresser and nightstand set made in the 1960s is in 9/10 condition!
Made with a mahogany veneer. They are stamped "Style House Exclusive" which i believe was made by Bassett for Montgomery Ward stores. It has an even finish and color throughout! All drawers are clean, newly sanded, and open + close perfectly. The darker wood behind the drawers is a laminate.
Although they’re in great condition with plenty of life left - they have some flaws! There are some small chips here and there, some worn edges. The nightstand is the only piece with a larger, more notciable chip on the right bottom. The tops of both pieces have a veneer that was added, imperfectly. There are some “patch worked” pieces. See photos. Despite the imperfect application they are in tact and not a functional issue. Especially if you plan to put decor on top them, it’s hardly! We could add a brand new veneer to perfect it, for an additional $200. However in my opinion, the imperfections give it some funky vintage charm!
