This is a genuine vintage 1960s walnut hutch! In good, well-lived condition! It’s very sturdy and has plenty of life left.
It has the original finish on its walnut veneer - and is in pretty good shape for the most part. Has the potential to be refinished - i decided to sell as/is for a bargain! Refinished would be worth $1000+ The very top of the hutch has a curved edge which is a cool feature.
There are imperfections throughout, scratches and wear to the finish. The most major flaw is the right bottom side has small areas of chipped veneer. Top of the shelf has 2 holes where a light used to attach. All give it vintage charm in my opinion! Priced accordingly.
It comes with 2 removable glass panels for the top shelf. Glass is not cracked but does have some scratches. Bottom shelf looks like it used to have sliding doors but i don’t have them. Both the top and bottom cabinets have slots to hold horizontal shelves, i don’t have those either. Middle 2 drawers open and close well enough, right drawer has 4 divided sections.
It would be great to display dishes, trinkets, books, as a vinyl record station, for plants, or whatever you want! :)
