Mid Century Vintage Lane Acclaim Cedar Chest / Bench
This is a very rare, genuine vintage, walnut + cedar wood chest / bench designed by Andre Bus for Lane Furniture’s Acclaim line! It’s in 9.5/10 condition.
It was very well taken care of and its original finish is still in gorgeous condition! Even color throughout, and really beautiful wood grain on display. Opens and closes just fine. Does not come with a key. Inside the cedar is in great condition. Clean, no stains! The small shelf area does have some wear inside to the green felt. This shelf can be removed if you preferred.
Mostly has basic signs of minor wear for being a piece made in the 1960s. However the left bottom edge does have a tiny bit of chipped veneer. Must have been a busy side in it’s previous household. Top has some minor scratches too. No wobbles. No cracks. No water damage. Sturdy with so much life left. Easily worth $1200+!
Great as an entry bench, at the end of your bed, a shoe bench, to store linens and blankets, or whatever you want!
L 44.5 x D 17 x H 20.75
