This is a genuine vintage mid century solid cedar chest! It has been newly refinished.
It’s super sturdy, no wobbles. Open and closes perfectly. I newly refinished it and the wood is looking beautiful! Also added new gold brass knobs to the front. The inside cedar chest area is extremely clean! No key included but you can probably have one made.
it was very well loved throughout its life, and there are remnants of flaws. A couple of very small chips on edges, one larger one on the front. It was once painted so if you look super close you can see some remnants of paint in the wood grain in some spots. Other than that, no flaws!!
Would be great as an entry bench, at the end of your bed, a hope chest, to store blankets/linens, toys, or whatever you want!
