Mid Century Vintage Lowboy Dresser by B.P. John
This is a rare, genuine vintage dresser from the 1960s (1962 to be exact) that is in in excellent 9.5/10 condition!
Brand is BP John - made in Oregon. It is made with a mix of solid walnut, walnut veneer, and solid ash wood. 9 drawers that open and close perfectly.
Newly refinished! Walnut finish is in great condition! Satin protective topcoat. any uneven areas in photos are just from light reflecting off the piece. The color is fairly even throughout! Original metal drawer pulls on the drawers and metal tip of the legs have been painted a brass gold color - but can be changed to silver for a small additional fee. Inside of drawers are clean, & it is super sturdy with no wobbles!
The finish is very even and beautiful/vibrant throughout - except on top. The center had a chemical burn that couldn’t be repaired, so we accent painted it a complimentary dark brown paint color. The bottom inner edge (underneath the drawers) is also painted this color, to tie it all in. While the left and right top still have wood that is fully refinished. Top is divided into 3 sections.
There are just a few very small imperfections here and there. Remnants of scratches and repaired chips on edges. Nothing too distracting or that’s an eye sore. All give it vintage character in my opinion! :)
Such a great dresser with tons of life left to live!
W 64 x D 19 x H 30.25
Drawer height: Top drawer = 5 || middle and bottom drawers 5.5
