This is a genuine vintage, one-of-a-kind mid century 1960s cabinet that’s in excellent 9.5/10 condition! Made with solid wood, it’s super solid & sturdy!
The two sliding doors open and close with ease. The solid wood legs have gold brass tips and the doors have gold brass pulls. The left side of the cabinet is an open space, while the right side has one drawer with three dividers. The drawer can easily be removed if you prefer to have an open space instead. The front doors could also be removed easily.
This piece has been freshly stripped and sanded! Gorgeous, bold woodgrain throughout. I decided to leave it a raw, natural blonde wood color. Just in case someone wanted it custom stained. i could stain it whatever color you want - for an additional $200 fee - or take it as is for the price listed.
There are no major flaws whatsoever - just very small signs of previous wear - like small remnants of scratches here and there as well as very small remnants of the previous darker finish. All give it vintage character, in my opinion :)
There are light signs of previous water damage on the top left of the cabinet. See photos. It’s really hard to see - just being transparent! Otherwise - there are no cracks, no big scratches, no wobbles. The back side of the piece does have a very thin piece of wood & was removed for photos - but we can re-attach if you’d like.
In my opinion, this cabinet would be perfect as a vinyl record station! You could easily fit 200+ records in the cabinets below. It also could be great as a tv stand, entry table, buffet, credenza, bar cabinet, bookcase, or whatever you want! No name brand that i could find. & I couldn’t find any others similar online. Very likely is a custom handmade piece!
