This is a very rare genuine vintage mid century 1960s solid wood chest / bench that is in excellent nearly 10/10 condition!
It has just been newly refinished! The outer walnut wood is looking gorgeous & vibrant with an even color throughout. Newly added gold metal legs. It’s very sturdy!
The inside cedar area is also in gorgeous very clean condition. No stains or smell. Has that fresh cedar scent! It even has the original tags inside! However, previously someone nailed legs into the bottom so there are some nail holes on the bottom from that. The lid opens and closes perfectly and it even has the original key!
This would be prefer as an entry bench or at the end of a bed to store linens, blankets, clothing, keepsakes, toys, or whatever you want!
