This is a very rare, genuine vintage 1970s upholstered bench / ottoman by Throw Pillow Inc. of Los Angeles, California.
Such a fun statement piece! It has a vibrant chartreuse/mustard yellow textured upholstery (velvety) with subtle button tufting and a sculptural white metal X-base.
A beautiful example of 1970s California design with elements of Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, and Space Age styling. The curved X-form base gives the piece a really unique, sculptural profile.
Vintage condition with age-appropriate wear to the base, including some super minor scuffs and scratches. The original upholstery has no rips or stains, in nearly perfect condition! Please review all photos closely for condition. Structurally solid.
