This is a genuine vintage solid wood chest! In excellent 9/10 condition. Very cottage core :) Likely from the 1970s.
It has really beautiful carved detail on the outside, with decorative brass hardware on front! Floral detail. The only flaw on this piece is the top, where there are various scratches from use over the years. It can easily be covered by a blanket or cushion though! Or, in my opinion, it just adds to its vintage charm!
The inside is nearly pristine. Extremely clean inside with no noticeable damage. One of the most clean cedar boxes I’ve seen! Perfect for storing linens, blankets, to use to store heirlooms, etc. It doesn’t come with the original key but I’m sure you could have one made
