This is a genuine vintage mid century 1960s writing desk in nearly 10/10 condition!
It has been newly 100% refinished! Made with a mix of solid wood + veneer. I Believe there is a mix of walnut, mahogany, and ash wood on this piece.
The wood is gorgeous and vibrant throughout. Bold grain and unique paneling on the front of the drawers. It is nearly flawless. The top was not wood, it was a laminate, and it has been painted a dark brown color that’s complimentary to the stain shade. All 4 drawers open and close perfectly! Original drawers pulls match the gold brass tips on the legs.
Flaws are very minimal. The right side has 4 nail holes in the wood, not very noticeable. Some areas with sensitive veneer but, that’s common with vintage pieces like this. The top right back corners have chipped laminate but you can hardly tell with the paint job. & Overall some very small leftovers of scratches before it was refinished. All give it vintage character :)
Super sturdy with so much life left!

Is obviously a great desk! But could also be used as an entry table, tv stand, or whatever you want!
