Mid Century Vintage Vinyl Record Stereo Cabinet

$425.00
sold out

This is a genuine vintage mid century cabinet made in the 1960s, specifically to store vinyl LP records! Perfect piece to organize your records and set up a player on top of. These are rare, uncommon pieces. This one specifically, might have been handmade. I couldn’t find any others similar online.

The bottom cabinet opens up to slots where you can store up to 100 records. The doors open and close perfectly, and are secured closed with a magnet. The knobs on the door are new, a gold brass color. The knobs are very slightly uneven, hard to tell but just being transparent. See photos.

The top cabinet has 2 sliding doors. They slide open and close with ease! They also can easily be removed if you’d rather have the top cabinet open. Original gold brass hardware on the doors. Inside the upper cabinet, there are 2 holes that someone carved to string cords through. Newly added gold metal mid century tapered legs!

The entire exterior of the piece has been sanded, stained, and given a protective satin topcoat. It is nearly flawless - no scratches, no water damage! Even color throughout.

Flaws: there is one back corner of the veneer that has chipped off. Also, the front doors had veneer that was slightly cracked before we refinished it. It has been repaired, but you can see remnants those slight cracks. Not super noticeable - just being transparent! It’s a solid wood piece with walnut veneer, so you can just see some minor flaws here and there. It was a very loved piece, so in my opinion the small flaws give it character :)

No brand name that i could find.

Overall: L 23 x D 19 x H 32
